This is one example of an old wooden footbridge that I find in an isolated areas of the national preserve in Kentucky and Tennessee. Volunteers usually build and maintain paths and bridges so hikers don't have to climb into and out of creeks,gullies and rocky ravines.

It is my hope that my Photography and art be inspirational and evoke feelings and thoughts. Many of my outdoor images were captured by spending many hours traveling, hiking and waiting for that perfect shot. I always say "Mother nature paints a pretty picture" and is a favorite subject so is more prevalent in my postings.
